Call for entries.
This is a very old piece, but I love it for the print and typography. The DMA Awards tradition is that the winner of the overall Gold Award winner from one year has the honour of creating the Call for Entries the following year. It’s a tricky brief. How can you create something that feels special, delivers the all-important rules in a clear, concise way, motivates response, but costs the agency as little as possible? We chose the seven deadly sins theme, and I pulled out all the stops on the typography and print production to ensure this piece stood out. And for the first time ever, entries could be submitted electronically, thanks to the enclosed floppy disk!
